Is the Septuagint used by Katabiblon (CATSS Rahlfs) an exact transcription of Codex Vaticanus?

Hello,
I'd like to know what original document did Rahlfs used as the source for his transcription of the Septuagint. Was his transcription made word by word without any corrections, not even grammar?
