The book "Ralfs Septuagint" right in front of me proverbs 14:1 is missing half a verse. As you may already know; the whole chapter thing was invented in 1205, and verses in 1551. Similar divisions were used earlier. That's not the point though. The Septuagint has many omitted, added, and radically changed so called verses. (Most evident are in the book of proverbs.) So, those 2 verses were just omitted or lost.
